Nadav Assor's contributions to the avant garde new media scene should not be underestimated. Inspired by Gordon Matta-Clark and 5Voltcore, Assor embraces the multiplicity of contemporary experience and recasts the digital medium as a "machine of transfiguration". Currently working out of Chicago, Assor's performative real-time multi-channel digital manipulations such as Minhur (Tunneling) and Local Camo are deliciously conceptual challenges to our perception of reality.
